Initial Consultation and Second Opinions

Psychiatric care begins with a comprehensive psychiatric exam which will help guide a personalized treatment plan. Generally, the structure of the psychiatric evaluation will depend on the developmental level of the patient.  Children will need a legal guardian with them. Adults are also encouraged to bring family or support as the feel appropriate.
Coordination with other professionals is often helpful to provide the best care.

Family Consultation and Family Therapy

This type of meeting is focused on family dynamics and may include several family members or may include a single family member who is concerned about their loved one.
